Athens Technical College is a public college situated in Georgia, United States. Athens Technical College was established in 1958. The college offers certificates, diplomas and associate degrees in business, health, technical and manufacturing related fields. The college has four campuses. Athens Technical College is accredited by Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs of the college are accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA). The college has several students' organizations which help the students to build leadership and service capabilities which will further groom them for their professional life. The students are offered several other services like library, financial aids, career services, book store. The career services help the students in their job search. The students are groomed for the job market including resume writing, interview skills, etc. They are also provided with job leads, posting of job announcements etc.

All students pursuing diploma, Associate degree or technical certificate programs, will have to fulfill certain general admission requirements. The students will have to submit a completed application for admissions and they will also have to pay a non refundable application fee of $20. The students will have to submit placement test score like ASSET, SAT, ACT and COMPASS. The test scores should be less than five year old. The students will also need to submit all their past academic records. If the student has already completed a minimum of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours of college course work, a high school or GED transcripts will not be necessary.
The college does not offer any on campus housing facilities. However, the students will find ample housing options near the campus. The students may choose to live in apartments with their friends which will also reduce their cost of living. The students can also opt for rentals, houses etc.
