Baker College Center for Graduate Studies

Introduction:

Baker College Center for Graduate Studies is located on the Flint campus. The programs are accredited through The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The MBA program has additional international accreditation through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. The Occupational Therapy program is also accredited through The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. Baker College Center for Graduate Studies was founded in the years 1911. Baker College Center for Graduate Studies offers various facilities to the students like library, bookstore, housing, etc.

Course Details:

Baker College Center for Graduate Studies offers a wide range of programs at the master's and doctorate levels. The programs are offered in the areas of business, information systems and occupational therapy. The students are prepared with specialized skills and training. The college offers the following concentrations:

  • Health sciences

  • Education and human services
  • Business administration
  • Office administration
  • Engineering and technical studies

    Admission Procedures:

    The students interested in admission in Baker College Center for Graduate Studies will have to complete an application form and pay an application fee of about $25.00. They will have to submit a typed essay of about 500 to 100 words explaining the reasons for entering the program. The students will have to submit official college transcripts with degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The students will also need to submit three letters of recommendation and current resume.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Baker College Center for Graduate Studies offers housing facilities. There are two residence halls which can accommodate about 400 students. The students are offered a variety of housing options. The students can opt for apartment style living. Each of the apartments in Baker Hall East has one bedroom with four person occupancy. The students can also opt for suite style living in Baker Hall West. Each suite has four bedrooms and six to eight students can share the suite. This hall can accommodate approximately 180 students. The students will have access to facilities like refrigerator, oven, private bath, full kitchen, living room, private phone line, bunk beds, closets etc.
