Baker College Corporate Services offer programs for the adult students. The programs are offered to the students at their places of employment. The "After Work" classes are conducted with the morning, afternoon and evening options. Baker College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Baker College was founded in the year 1911. Many of the institutions make use of the Professional Development Division of the college to improve their workforce through training in project management, leadership, organizational development, sales and customer service and quality tools and methods. Baker College Corporate Services offers various facilities like bookstore, learning support services, newsletters, etc.
Baker College Corporate Services has three areas: the college credit (degree granting program) program, the Personal development (non credit) Division and the Special Projects Division.
The College Credit Program awards certificates, associate degrees, bachelor degrees and master degrees. All the programs enjoy the same accreditation status and standards of instructional excellence.
The Personal Development Division offers non credit personal development courses to employees. The courses include a multitude of computer classes, personal finance, personal protection, time management, consumer law, small business entrepreneurship and golf. The program is designed according to the needs of the clients.
The Special Projects Division administers Michigan 107A grants and the federal WIA grants. This division locates small to mid sized companies who need specific training for their workforce. The representatives of the division help the companies with the necessary paperwork and other requirements. The Special Projects Division offers employers with more than one million training dollars per year in federal and state grants.
The students interested in admission in Baker College Corporate Services will have to complete an application form. The college representatives meet the interested corporate representatives in order to understand the need of the company and propose programs, etc. The program coordinators provide educational and administrative services.
Baker College Corporate Services does not offer housing facilities. The students will have to make arrangements for their own accommodation.
