Charlotte Technical Center

Introduction:

Charlotte Technical Center is technical education college. Charlotte Technical Center college is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and has the approval of Veteran state Approval Agency. Charlotte Technical Center has student strength of over 2,000 high school and adult students annually. Over 70 professionals provide excellent technical instructions to the students. The classes are available on part time, full time and distance learning in order to suit the students' busy schedule. Charlotte Technical Center offers facilities like Pumpkin Patch Day Care center in the campus for students with small children. The placement counselor assists the students in their job search. The students are helped with resume writing, interview techniques and other employability skills.

Course Details:

Charlotte Technical Center offers technical career training programs in Business and Office technology, Construction, Health science and service. The curriculum is based on the Florida Department of Education Curriculum Frameworks for Career and Technical Education. Full time classes are generally conducted from Monday to Friday for six hours. The full time programs take about one to six and a half quarters to complete. Programs are offered in the following areas.

  • Early Childhood
  • Health Sciences

  • Electronics

    Admission Procedures

    The students do not require a high school diploma except in case of dental Assisting, Early Childhood Education, And Practical nursing. The students are encouraged to earn their GED if they do not have a diploma. The college offers many types of financial aids like Pell grants, scholarships etc. the students will have to contact the Admission department of the college for career counseling. They will have to take a TABE assessment for admission. Once the student gets the assessment result, they can attend the orientation. Most of the full time classes have quarterly enrollment.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Charlotte Technical Center does not offer housing facilities for the students. The students will have to arrange their own accommodation. They will get several housing options near the campus.
