The College offers various certificate courses, vocational programs and technical programs. The faculty members who are responsible for supervising a particular division also are engaged in advising the students that are pursuing degree and certificate programs under that particular division.
In order to apply in this College a student has to send the application form within the given deadline. About 30 days prior to the start of the semester, the applications are due. The students have to submit the official transcript showing the proof of the completion of the academic programs at the prior college or school. Again the students are required to show G.E.D scores. However the students do not need to provide SAT or ACT scores. Instead of providing the SAT or ACT scores, a student seeking admission in Coastal Georgia Community College needs to take a Compass Placement Examination.
