College of Dupage


College of Dupage is a community College in Illinois which is also the third largest community College with single campus in U.S.A. Again the College is renowned for being the second largest higher education Institute that Illinois has. The College offers quality education and has created a unique learning atmosphere for the students for the past 40 years. The College is fully accredited and has student strength of approximately 30000 students. The College of Dupage is popularly known as C.O.D. and produces about 25 percent of the total number of high school graduates in the District of Community College.

Courses offered:

Courses offered at College of Dupage are various in a student friendly environment. The College provides 90 certificate programs, 59 occupational degrees and 45 transfer pre-baccalaureate programs to the students. Several certificates, degrees are awarded by the College to the tourists. The College offers degrees in seven divisions such as Associate in Fine Arts Art Option (A.F.A.), Associate in Fine Arts Music Option (A.F.A.), Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), Associate in Engineering Science (A.E.S.), Associate in Applied Science(A.A.S.), Associate in General Studies(A.G.S.) etc. However the students have to take up these following compulsory subjects no matter what degree they are pursuing their studies in.

    Admission procedures:

    Admission procedures in College of Dupage are all about submitting the application of admission within the fixed deadline, the failing of which will result in the cancellation of the application. A student seeking admission can get information from the Admission Office at the Glen Ellyn Campus. It is situated in the Student Resource Center (SRC). A student has to pay a non refundable application fee of $20. If some one is applying online then that student has to pay the application fee online also.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Accommodation facilities at College of Dupage include rental apartment facilities. The accommodation facilities of this College are mainly off campus. One can stay at the rental apartments or Hotels in the nearby locations.
