Founded in the year 1960, College of the Albemarle is a prestigious community college in the northeastern North Carolina. This is an ideal place to learn for the students. Known as COA, this college serves more than 2,000 students who represent counties such as Currituck, Dare, Camden, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Chowan, and Gates. Encompassing over 75 acres of the main campus is positioned in Elizabeth City and the college also maintains satellite campuses in cities such as, Manteo and Edenton.
