Columbia Theological Seminary is a renowned Education Institute of Georgia which is basically under the Presbyterian Church of USA. The main focus of the Institute is to create a community of theological unit and develop Ministry who will be dedicated full time in the service of the Church of God or Jesus Christ. There are six degree programs that are offered by the College which include two basic programs along with four advanced degree programs. The courses offered in Columbia Theological Seminary are all based on Theological studies and Biblical studies. The College offers Basic degrees and Advanced degrees. Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) is an academic program with less stress on the professional aspects. Again the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is basically a professional degree in the study of Theology. The dual degree programs offered by the College help students to earn the M.Div from Columbia and also help the student to acquire a Masters degree in Science from the Georgia State University. Students undertaking the Advanced degrees can take up courses such as

The main admission requirement of the College from the students is that they have to provide evidence of genuine faith in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior. The admission procedures in Columbia Theological Seminary require submitting the application form within the fixed deadline. A student can contact the admission office for further details on the admission requirement. The College recommends the students to put forward their applications at the earliest convenience. The College does not allow the International students to get admission in the Master of Divinity (M.Div) program or Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) programs. The College however appreciates the admittance of International students in the programs such as Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology. Students with English as second language have to provide TOEFL scores as a part and parcel of the admission criteria of the College. The test scores should 220 in the computer based test and 550 in the written exam.
Accommodation facilities in Columbia Theological Seminary are both in campus and off campus. The M.Div and MATS students can get accommodation in the in campus housings. A student seeking admission on campus should contact the Office of Admission for the forms. Again students have options to reside off campus for which housing facilities are available at an affordable range.
