Covington Theological Seminary

Introduction

Covington Theological Seminary was founded in September 1977 in the State of Florida. In the July of 1980, the Seminary was moved to Rossville, GA. Covington Theological Seminary was chartered in 1977 for the purpose of offering conservative biblical and theological training for students. The college holds accreditation with ACI, Accrediting Commission International. The college is affiliated to National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) of Washington, DC and is a member of Accreditating Commission International (ACI) of Beebe, Arkansas. The college offers certificate programs, Bible Institute Division, College Division and Seminary division.


Course Details

Covington Theological Seminary offers certificate programs in certificates in Christian worships/ Music and certificate in biblical counseling. Bible Institute Division offers three diploma programs to those who do not have high school certificates or to those who are looking for a degree. The three diplomas are

  • General Bible Diploma: This diploma is offered to those who complete thirty two semester hours of Bible training. There is no educational prerequisite for taking this program.
  • Graduate of Biblical Studies: this is a two year course
  • Graduate of Theology: this is a three year program.

  • Admission Procedures:

    Each of the students is evaluated individually. Probationary admission is granted until all the necessary documentations are completed. All students entering college level has to submit high school transcripts. The original and sealed transcripts from all the previous educational institution will be required for all the transfer college students. The students are encouraged to make all payments at the time enrollment, in fact a 10% discount is offered to those who enroll by paying the full amount of tuition fee. However, the students can also pay by installments. The students will have to make a specific down payment at the time of enrollment and the rest of the money can be paid in 10 equal monthly installments.
