Dalton Beauty College is accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences and is licensed by Georgia State Board Of Cosmetology. Dalton Beauty College exceeds the minimum space requirements as recommended by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. The college has a reception area, clinic floor, offices, classrooms, dispensary and break room. The clinic room is the work station of the students. In the clinic rooms, the students work on the customers under the direct supervision of instructors. The classrooms are equipped with charts, video library and chalkboard. All the theory classes are conducted here. All the facilities are updated continuously in order to meet the criteria of a modern up to date cosmetology school. The college offers placement assistance to every graduate student, even after leaving college. Employment opportunities are placed on the bulletin board in order to assist students in their job search. The students are offered various students' services like academic and personal counseling, drug counseling programs where experts create awareness among students. The students are offered locker facilities to keep their personal belongings. The students are also offered financial assistance. The students are trained so that they pass the State Board Examination and become licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Georgia.

Cosmetology includes an understanding of the chemistry of the skins and hair and its practical application. The initial classes includes theory, lectures, demonstrations and practices in molding, pin curling patterns, roller placements, permanent waving, hair shaping, hair coloring and chemistry of hair. In the latter classes, the students will work in the clinic floor under the supervision of the instructors. Nail Technology includes basic principles of manicuring that includes understanding of the hands and feet and practical application of artificial nails. The course on instructor trainee includes a study of the methods and teaching techniques required for licensed cosmetologists to become classrooms and clinic instructors.
Dalton Beauty College demands that all the students must be either a high school graduate or GED. The student must be above 16 years of age.
