Goucher College


The state of Maryland is home to a large number of esteemed colleges and Goucher College is one of them. The college came into existence in 1885 as a women's college named The Woman's College of Baltimore. The founder of this college is Methodist ministers John B. Van Meter and Dr. John Goucher. For the freshmen applicants, it is required to submit Common Application form and Goucher supplement, application fee, an essay of minimum 500 words, official high school transcript, Secondary School Report and a letter of recommendation from the applicant's college counselor or adviser and a recommendation letter from an academic teacher.
