The Frontier Community College is a part of the Illinois Eastern Community College (IECC) system. As a member of IECC, the Frontier Community College (FCC) has a history that dates back to 1976 and is spread across an eight acre campus. FCC was previously known as the College of Continuing Education Foundation. The Frontier Community College (FCC) boasts of a 10,500 specialized classroom building with state of the art laboratories. The Frontier Community College (FCC) aims to serve the educational need of students, working adults and enhancing opportunities to enhance professional expertise. FCC also provides federal grants and aids for financial assistance to eligible students. Students can also apply for scholarships. The college prepares its students for the evolving job market with academic knowledge to sustain in the global economy.
