Olney Central College is one of the four community colleges in the Illinois Eastern Community College system. Olney Central College has a history that dates back to 1963 and offers courses in the fields of nursing, cosmetology, computing, music, radiography, accounting and so on. To make the academic experience student friendly, Olney Central College offers programs in day, evening and online formats. The college is spread across hundred acres and is affiliated by the Franklin University. Olney Central College encourages a vibrant athletic life of its students through its basketball and softball teams. The sports team for men and women at the Olney Central College is known as the Blue Knights and lady Blue Knights respectively. The college also offers financial assistance and scholarships to eligible students. Along with an intellectual experience, the students are exposed to a cultural stimulation through the performing arts center and the music department.
