Kellogg Community College

Introduction:

Kellogg Community College (KCC) in Michigan was founded in 1956 by the Battle Creek Board of Education. KCC consists of several academic units, such as the mathematics and science department, the arts and communication department, business and information technology department and many more. The college also offers many scholarship programs, these are Foundation Scholarships, the Walter and Lucille Harper Scholarships and the Gold Key Scholarships.

There are many student organizations at Kellogg Community College in Michigan. Some of them are the Environmental Club, Bruin Christian Fellowship Club, the Crude Arts Club, Student Nurses Association, the African American Cultural Enhancement Association, Psi Beta Club, Paralegal Association and the Native American Student Association. The student enrollment at Kellogg Community College was approximately 5500 in 2007-08.

Course Details:

The courses offered in Kellogg Community College are basically Certificates/Less-than-1-year Certificates, Certificates/Less-than-2-year Certificates and Associate degrees. This college is a two-year institution of higher learning which offers academic, occupational, general and lifelong learning opportunities on campus in Battle Creek, Michigan as well as at off-campus sites and online.



Admission Procedures:

The admission procedure at Kellogg Community College is that you have to submit an application. If you are registering for credit course work, then you must complete an application for admission and return it to the Customer Service Center in the Ohm Information Technology Center or to the main office at the Grahl, Fehsenfeld, or Eastern Academic Center. You may also apply online at www.kellogg.edu. Admission to the college does not ascertain entry into a specific curriculum or course section.

  • You have to be 18 years of age or older
  • High school graduates or high school equivalent certificate
  • Have completed a home school program

    Accommodation Facilities:

    The Kellogg Community College does not offer any on-campus housing for the students. Therefore, you have to look for accommodation outside the campus. You can take rent or stay as paying guests in nearby area of Battle Creek.
