Marian College


The origin of Marian college has a history which dates back to 1851. An institute which grew out of the faith and vision of Sister Theresa Hackelmeier and the Sisters of St. Francis, in Oldenburg was later moved to Indianapolis in 1937. The College has a serene and beautiful campus which is only 10 minutes from the downtown. In 1954, Marian college emerged to become the first co-educational Catholic college in Indiana and also received accreditation from the North Central Association within two years. The college employs an outstanding faculty of about 81 highly qualified full-time professors and has a student faculty ratio of 17:1. Marian College has the facility of offering scholarships and financial aid packages for deserving students

There are several Adult programs offered at Marian College. Associate of Business Administration Degree are offered in:

    Admission Procedures :

    There are separate eligibility criteria for admission for the High School Students, Transfer Students, Non-Traditional Students, Home School Students and International Students. SAT and ACT scores are accepted for admission for High School Students, however SAT and ACT scores are not needed for Non-Traditional Students who are required to take the Pre-Admission Test before being considered for admission to Marian College. Marian College reserves about 20 seats for international students. However admission is made on basis of proof of English proficiency and financial support.

    Accommodation Facilities:

    Marian College provides the facility of campus housing however does not provide a meal plan. So students can also avail several reasonably priced hotels and motels around the campus for staying.
