Martin Luther College


The amalgamation of Northwestern College and Dr. Martin Luther College led to the establishment of the Martin Luther College in the year 1995. Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) is the operating head of the college. It is a college of ministry and is located in Minnesota. The institute prepares the students for pastoral training and for teachers in different church schools. Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools has given accreditation to the Martin Luther College. Minnesota Board of Teaching has given approval to its teaching programs. The campus consists of 11 buildings and it has many facilities to offer to the students which are very beneficial for them.

Course Details:

Most of the students after graduating from Martin Luther College go on to study at the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Graduation and Post Graduation degree programs and certificates are offered at Martin Luther College. These programs help the students to secure a good career in a church related service field. The faculty members are very helpful and they assist you in all your academic endeavors. The programs offered in Martin Luther College are:

    Admission Procedures:

    Admission in Martin Luther College is only granted to students who consider public ministry as their future career and have the passionate desire to serve the ministry. The y should possess strength of character and have reputation which has not been tarnished. He/she should have talents which would benefit in the service of the church.

    These applicants can submit along with their application form recommendation letters from pastor and high school counselor, and ACT scores, along with GPA details. International applicants are to submit their TOEFL Scores and proof of financial capability to pay for the fee. A non-discriminatory policy is followed in the admission procedures.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Housing facility is available for the students of Martin Luther College. There are residence halls where the students put up. These residence halls are: Centennial, Concord, Summit, and Augustana. These dormitories are furnished and have TV and computer facility. Students can eat on-campus as the cafeterias offer meal plans to the students.
