Monmouth College

Established in 1853 in an effort to shape a new world with its strong roots in traditional values, Monmouth College has preferred to remain as a collegiate institute rather than expanding into a university. With its belief in equality of men & women, Monmouth College was set up as a coeducational institute in the state of Illinois. This aspect of Monmouth College sets it apart from the other private colleges in Illinois of its time, as it offered the same courses to both men & women. Monmouth College offers four-year Bachelor of Arts degree which is approved by The Higher Learning Commission & a member of North Central Association & its program of the department of education is accredited by the Illinois State Certification Board. This non-government college is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in U.S.A. which is known for its dedication to higher studies by providing quality education to its ever-increasing students from schools, colleges and universities across the country.

Admission Procedures:

Monmouth College follows an open admission procedure as one can apply online also. No application fee is required. For admission to various degree programs all applicants need to submit an official secondary school transcript. The students coming from different states & colleges are also required to submit official transcripts from their previous colleges. Monmouth College accepts SAT and ACT scores as part of the official transcript. Applicants are considered and notified at the earliest on receipt of all requisite materials.
