Introduction:

Naugatuck Valley Community College, a public 2 year community college, was established in 1962. The main campus is situated in Waterbury, Connecticut, United States. Naugatuck Valley Community College is one of the twelve colleges of Connecticut Community College System. The college grants a variety of Associates degrees and also certificate programs. The 110 acre campus houses all kinds of facilities. The Learning Resource Center supports the students with a huge collection of materials and other online resources. The Student Center supports student activities and offers game room, cafeteria. Naugatuck Valley Community College houses one of the Connecticut's three observatories. Over 1100 networked computers are available for student use. The Fine Arts Center houses two theaters, musics and dance studios, video studios and rehearsal rooms. The Max R. Traurig Library at Naugatuck Valley Community College is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the L building.

    Naugatuck Valley Community College offers credit certificates in Athletic coaching, Business office technology, horticulture, graphics & animation, health care pathways, landscape design certificates, electronic music audio production, dietary supervision, engineering exploratory certificates etc.

    Admission Procedures:

    Naugatuck Valley Community College offers open admission with selective placement into selective placement into some programs. The courses are offered during days, evenings and weekends. The college admits students for both part time and full time course. Full time students have to take at least twelve (12) credits per semester. Most of the courses are worth three credits.

    Accommodation facilities:
