Introduction:

Salem State College is one of the oldest colleges in Massachusetts situated in Salem. The college was established in the year 1854. This co educational private community college has high quality study programs in several departments. Its loving and caring atmosphere attracts students to come to study. In fact, almost from all around the country students come to join the study program. The college offers over forty academic programs in various field of study.     Admission Procedures:

    Salem State College does not follow an open admission policy. An applicant must submit the original transcriptions of accredited schools or colleges. GED certificate is also accepted. Candidates also have to submit SAT, MAT and GRE certificates. MTEL transcripts are also required in some cases. Students having English as a foreign language must submit TOEFL scores. An applicant must fill up an application form in time.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Salem State College has a beautiful campus area with all the modern amenities. Students can have library and various sports facility inside the campus. Salem State College does not have any campus housing arrangements. Students have to arrange their own hostel or rental house. However, there are many hotels and rental houses available in reasonable prices near the campus. Students can stay there and attend the classes. The whole campus is well secured.
