Sojourner-Douglass College is a private institution which has its headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. It was founded in the year 1972 as the Homestead-Montebello Center of Antioch University. It became an independent institution in the year 1980. It is accredited by the Middle States Association and the Maryland Higher Education Commission. There are other satellite campuses located in other parts of the state of Maryland. The purpose of the College is to provide an environment which is conducive to learning.
