Introduction:

St. Olaf College is a liberal arts college situated in Northfield, Minnesota. It features in Loren Pope's list of 'Colleges That Change Lives'. Annually an average of 6 students receives Fullbright scholarship. Another significant aspect of the college is that it has produced nine Rhodes scholars. Another distinction of this college is that many of its students have served Peace Corps. It is a volunteer program in America; people are sent to other nations for duration of two year with the mission to promote global peace and friendship.

St. Olaf College MN was established in the year 1874 by Norwegian Lutheran immigrants. It is a traditional institution, which sprawls over a massive 300 acres of land.
