The Boston Conservatory


The Boston Conservatory is an Education Institute of Massachusetts that was inaugurated in the year 1867 by Julius Eichburg. After the merger of the school with the National Associated Studios of Music at the beginning of the 20th century, the college expanded its horizon of course offerings. The primary focus of the College is to provide excellent services that take care of the academic and career related problems or queries of the students. One of the features of the students is that they offer financial aid to the eligible students in the form of scholarships. The highest degree offering of the College is that of Masters. The College offers International student services.

Course Details:

Study programs at The Boston Conservatory are primarily in the fields of music, dance, and performing arts. The College offers degrees in musical theater and liberal arts program. The College offers its students both Undergraduate and Graduate programs in the departments of liberal arts through the different academic divisions such as the following:

  • The Dance Division
  • The Music Division
  • The Theater Division

    Admission Procedures:

    Admission at The Boston Conservatory is of the selective type as the College only accepts application from the eligible students that meet the admission criteria. The students are asked to submit their application form within a fixed deadline accompanied with a non refundable application fee. As a part of the admission criteria, the students have to submit the office of admission ACT test scores. Again TOEFL scores are required as an integral part of the application process. SAT scores are recommended by the College and the students are required to provide essays at the time of admission stating the statement of purpose of the admission in this College.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Accommodation at The Boston Conservatory is primarily on campus as the College houses approximately 196 out of the 629 full time students approximately. However the College recommends the students, specially the freshmen to live on campus. The College offers dormitory type of housing for the students. Other off campus housing facilities can be chosen by the students. They can put up a stay at the neighboring Hotels and rental apartments and condos.
