The Community College of Baltimore County


The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) has a history that dates back to 1957 and is spread over three campuses in Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex. With over fifty associate degrees and over a hundred certificate programs on offer, the college has been serving the cause of education over the years. Traditional and non traditional students are welcome at the Community College of Baltimore County, which boasts of vibrant campuses with curriculum that include online courses, distance learning facility and professional programs apart from conventional education. The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and several programs are approved by the Department of Education of U.S. The uniqueness of CCBC is not limited to its academics only. The college has an exciting athletic community complete with contemporary infrastructure. The athletic teams of the college have been participating in regional and state level championships. To support students financially, the Community College of Baltimore County offers grants, scholarships and loans. The student services further extends to employment assistance, academic counseling and support for students with disability.

    Admission Procedures:

    The Community College of Baltimore County follows an open door admission policy. Students can make online applications for admission at CCBC. Official records of previous educational achievements have to be presented during admission and SAT or ACT scores have to be submitted too.     Accommodation facilities:

    The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) does not offer on campus housing facility to the students. However, student apartments are readily available around the college area. Hence, affordable off campus accommodation is not a hurdle for the students.
