Brandeis University

Introduction:

Named in honor of the first Jewish Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Louis Dembitz Brandeis, Brandeis University was established in the year of 1948. This is mainly a private research higher learning institution where the programs on liberal arts given importance. Brandeis University is positioned in Waltham, Massachusetts and accommodates more than 5000 students who represent several states in the United States. Here the students are provided with excellent learning opportunities and variety of programs on diverse fields of study. Brandeis University is comprised of a number of academic divisions. These include Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Brandeis International Business School, Rabb School of Summer and Continuing Studies as well as Heller School for Social Policy and Management and College of Arts and Sciences.

Course Details:

    Admission Procedures:

    As Brandeis University is selective in terms of admission, all the applicants don't get admitted. The students can apply online. For the freshmen students it is required to submit official copies of all high school transcripts and/or GED certificate with the application. In addition, official copy of SAT I scores or the official ACT scores, a letter of recommendation and a letter of recommendation from a secondary school official have to be presented with the application.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Accommodation facilities are offered to the students of Brandeis University. Most of the students live on campus, while off campus accommodation can also be availed. Students at Brandeis University enjoy vibrant campus life. Popular sports are Cross Country, Golf, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, volleyball, fencing, sailing, tennis, swimming and diving as well as indoor and outdoor track and field.
