Named in honor of the first Jewish Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Louis Dembitz Brandeis, Brandeis University was established in the year of 1948. This is mainly a private research higher learning institution where the programs on liberal arts given importance. Brandeis University is positioned in Waltham, Massachusetts and accommodates more than 5000 students who represent several states in the United States. For the freshmen students it is required to submit official copies of all high school transcripts and/or GED certificate with the application. In addition, official copy of SAT I scores or the official ACT scores, a letter of recommendation and a letter of recommendation from a secondary school official have to be presented with the application.
