Brenau University


Brenau University is a private women's university with an enrollment of more than 2,500 students. This private, four-year, nondenominational liberal arts college was established in 1878 and highly acclaimed for rich heritage and academic excellence. Initially, this Georgia higher learning school was known as Georgia Baptist Female Seminary and was renamed as Brenau University in the year of 1992. The student-teacher ratio is 13:1. At Brenau University the students are awarded with associate's, baccalaureate's, and master's degrees in a variety of fields of study. These include art and design, humanities, and interior design.     Admission Procedures:

    Brenau University follows rolling admission procedures. Students who have finished a minimum of 16 units within a college-preparatory course or the equivalent at an accredited secondary school are eligible to apply. Along with the complete application form, the applicants must submit a transcript of their high school work, nonrefundable fee of $35, test results from the ACT or the College Board's SAT I.

    Accommodation Facilities:

    Brenau University offers campus housing facilities and those who are below 22 years of age or the students, who don't live with their parents locally, must live in campus. Various off-campus accommodation facilities are also present in the neighboring areas.
