California State University-Northridge

California State University-Northridge is a Public University established in the year 1958. It is situated in the San Fernando Valley. It is part of the California State University system. It was founded as the San Fernando Valley State College. It got its present name in the year 1972. California State University-Northridge also known as CSUN is one of the largest universities in California. It houses the National Center on Deafness. Every year the University hosts the International Conference on Technology and Persons with Disabilities. It has more than 36,000 students and 1,800 faculties approximately. It is committed to educational excellence and its service to the community.

Course Details

There are nine colleges under the California State University-Northridge. They offer more than 64 baccalaureate degrees, 52 masters' degrees, and 55 teaching credential programs. There are distance learning programs offered too. There are other special programs available like online education and Program for Adult College Education. Admission Procedures:

When one is taking admission at California State University-Northridge they can apply through the available online forms. They should have completed school/college with a minimum of grade 'C'. All past academic records needs to be sent. One needs to sign up for the English and Mathematics Placement Test. A minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and SAT and ACT scores are required as admission documents.
