Clark Atlanta University

Introduction:

USA is the home to two comprehensive, private, historically black universities and Clark Atlanta University is one of them. Established in 1988, this is an ideal higher learning institution for undergraduate, graduate, and professional education. Clark Atlanta University is located in Atlanta, Georgia and serves some 4,026 undergraduate and 1,178 full-time and part-time graduate students who represent forty states and fifty countries. At CAU, the students are offered undergraduate, graduate, specialist, doctoral degrees and certificate programs as well. Encompassing some 125 acres of campus area, CAU features more then 35 buildings. In the 2008 edition of the Washington Monthly, Clark Atlanta University has been ranked as one of the "Best Colleges and Universities". Academic schools operated by CAU are:

CAU Admission Procedures:

Rolling admission policy is maintained by Clark Atlanta University, GA. Applicants are considered according to their high school record, letters of recommendation, college entrance exam scores and a one-page essay. With completed application form, the students must submit a processing fee of $35. For the transfer students, official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and two letters of recommendation are mandatory.

CAU Accommodation Facilities:

Students can avail both on-campus and off-campus accommodation facilities at CAU. Some 1,048 of its 3,945 (full-time) students are offered on-campus housing facilities.
