Delaware State University


Well known for its historical heritage, Delaware State University serves more than 3,000 students. This esteemed U.S higher learning institution was established on May 15, 1891, and is a historically black, public university. Positioned in Dover, Delaware, Delaware State University also has two satellite campuses that are located in Wilmington, DE and Georgetown, DE. Offering excellent programs in instruction, service, and research, Delaware State University is the second-largest university in the state. Study at Delaware State University is truly a great privilege as some 83 percent of undergraduates receive various financial aids in the form of scholarships, grants, loans as well as work-study income opportunity. Six colleges are run by this Delaware University. These are:

    DESU Course Details:

    As far as learning opportunities are concerned, Delaware State University is one of the best in the U.S. Here the students are offered 64 undergraduate degrees, 21 graduate degrees as well as at least six doctoral degrees on the following:

  • Applied mathematics
  • Mathematical physics
  • Applied chemistry
  • Neuroscience

  • Doctorate programs in education

    Students can apply online for getting admitted in Delaware State University. Eligibility criteria are set up by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the policies of the University. For freshman students the secondary school record, and standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) are must. Transfer students and international students are also welcomed.
