Grand Valley State University


The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission; Member - North Central Association. Apart from the Allendale campus, university classes are also held in Meijer Campus in Holland, Pew Campus in Grand Rapids and in centers at Muskegon and Traverse City. Since 1960, the Grand Valley State University, MI has dedicated itself to be a four year college that nourishes the talents of the learners through academic and community service.

Intramural sports and sports like basketball, cross country, swimming, volleyball, and tennis are integral to the student life at GVSU. The university provides an extensive library facility to the students which also include online resource.     Admission Procedures:

    For a freshman seeking admission at the Grand Valley State University (GVSU), completion of high school is a prerequisite. Knowledge of English, science, mathematics and a foreign language is recommended. Applicants also need to submit their ACT or SAT scores during the admission procedure. International students have to present their TOEFL score.

    Accommodation facilities:

    The Grand Valley State University provides on campus housing facility to the students. The accommodation options include student apartments and living centers. Rooms are shared by two students. Students are provided with meal plans and have access to the community kitchen.
