Judson University

Introduction:

Judson University was established in the year of 1863 and is an evangelical Christian liberal arts university. Formed out of the liberal arts component of Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, this Illinois higher learning institution was named in honor of the first American Baptist missionary to foreign shores Adoniram Judson. Judson College has been given the university status on August 28, 2008 and from then on it is known as Judson University. Campuses of Judson University are located in Elgin and Rockford, Illinois. Master's degree is the highest degree offered at Judson University. According to the U.S.News & World Report's, Judson University is in the list of "America's Best Colleges 2010."

For the freshmen students, a completed application form with the $40 application fee, an official transcript, the official results of ACT or SAT, a signed copy of the Judson University Lifestyle Statement, Academic Reference form and two, 1-2 page essays are to be submitted.
