In Massachusetts there are around 117 colleges and universities. There around approximately fifteen Universities currently operating in the state. Massachusetts has five public Universities which are governed by the University of Massachusetts system. Some of the famous Universities in the state are Boston University, University of Massachusetts, Suffolk University, and Middlesex University. The state of Massachusetts has an educational system which is highly considered. The universities in the state excel in research and academics. Massachusetts Universities offer a variety of programs which is definitely good as it opens up newer career avenues. There are different financial aid programs in the form of state aid grants which helps the student's access higher education in Massachusetts easily.
