Morgan State University is a public urban university. The institute is originally a historically black college and was founded in the year 1867. It is located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is not a part of the University System of Maryland. When it was established, it was known as the Centenary Biblical Institute, which was dedicated to train young people of the ministry.
