Purdue University- North Central Campus

Introduction:

Purdue University was founded as a land grant University on May 6 1989.It is one of the most renowned universities in Indiana. One of the campuses is in the North Central region. Purdue University- North Central Campus is part of the Purdue University System. It is a regional campus. It is located in La Porte County in northwestern Indiana. Purdue University- North Central Campus has a total student enrollment of around 4,000 students approximately. The institute has been accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The North Central Campus is located on 305 acres of land. The first site where classes were held was in a mansion of John H. Barker at Michigan City, this was in the year 1967. The North Central Campus students have an active sports life as they indulge in sports activities like basketball, baseball, and volleyball.

Course Details :

Purdue-North Central offers a variety of programs and courses. There are associates, bachelors, and masters degrees available. There are four colleges operating under this institute. The colleges are: College of Business, College of Engineering & Technology, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Science. Some of the programs offered at Purdue-North Central are:

    Admission Procedures :

    Applicants should send their online application form along with supporting documents to Purdue-North Central when applying for admission. Official high school transcripts along with SAT/ACT scores have to be mailed. For further criteria details applicants may contact the admissions department of the University at: admissions@pnc.edu

    Accommodation Facilities :

    Students are offered off-campus accommodation at Purdue-North Central. University Park is where the students stay and enjoy as they live and study at Purdue. There are great facilities and amenities offered at these housing facilities. There are six apartment buildings with 82 bedrooms. These residences are located very near to the campus. The apartments are fully furnished and room mate matching is available according to the student's preference and requirements. Some of the facilities and amenities offered at the apartments are:
