Roosevelt University

Introduction:

Roosevelt University was established in the year 1945 and is better known as RU. This private institution of higher education in Illinois serves more than 7,000 students. With a mission of being a metropolitan university, RU maintains full service campuses in Chicago's Loop and northwest suburban Schaumburg. In addition to that, students from the neighboring communities, schools, and corporations are offered excellent learning opportunities by Roosevelt University.     Admission Procedures:

    Roosevelt University does not follow open admission policy. The students can also apply online. Applicants are evaluated on their merit. Test scores and grade point averages (GPAs) are given importance during the selection process. Along with the completed admission from, freshmen students are required to present the application fee, official high school or GED transcripts, official transcripts from any colleges attended. In addition, either the American College Testing Program (ACT) or College Board's Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) test scores are to be submitted.

    Accommodation Facilities:

    Roosevelt University offers accommodation facilities to its students. There are two dormitories in easy commuting distance. Students are provided with facilities like the university's gym and fitness center: the Marvin Moss Student Center (MMSC), Murray-Green Library, music practice rooms as well as the Student Government Association, Office of Student Activities, Student Organization office spaces, and the Academic Counseling Center as well.
