Proudly boasting a rich heritage of strong Alumni Association whose strength is approximately 16000 and above, the Southwest Minnesota State University in Minnesota is one of the best of its kind. The University is better known as SMSU and was inaugurated in the year of 1973. Being a part of the "Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System", this University has a great repute in terms if it's academic offerings. One notable feature of Southwest Minnesota State University is its Athletic Department which is known as "Mustangs".

The University is academically strong as the different programs offered by the University are widely appreciated. This public University offers courses of duration of four years.     Admission Procedures:

    Southwest Minnesota State University admission follows some basic rules. For example a student is required to apply on time either through paper application form or through online application. The students have to submit their application within a fixed date. Again the students are also required to schedule an appointment with a person from the admission office. Then he or she will have to schedule a visit to the campus and sit down with a financial aid estimator. Meeting the admission counselor is also an integral part of the admission procedure.

    Accommodation facilities:

    Southwest Minnesota State University accommodation can be availed on the campus. The students are offered comfortable housings within the premises. The University houses about 900 out of a total of 3500 students approximately.
