Introduction:

Taylor University a private institution founded in the year 1846. It is an evangelical co-educational institution. It has campuses in Fort Wayne and Upland. Taylor University-Fort Wayne campus is a 30 acre campus, housing around 1,040 students. Taylor University-Fort Wayne is one of the best in Indiana. It has got accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also a member of the Christian College Consortium and Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. The University was originally founded as Fort Wayne Female College. It was renamed to Taylor University in the year 1890. The Fort Wayne campus was renamed as Fort Wayne Bible College and Summit Christian College before it was acquired by Taylor University in 1992.

Taylor University-Fort Wayne offers a number of associate and bachelors degrees in various fields of study. Several certificate programs are offered too. Online education is offered by Taylor.     Online application forms are available for interested applicants who seek admission at Taylor-Fort Wayne. Students are to send along with the forms SAT/ACT scores, two essays, and official high school transcripts. Along with the form, pastor recommendation and guidance counselor recommendation are to be sent too. TOEFL scores, Affidavit of Support and Financial Support Statement need to be submitted by the International applicants.

The residence halls offer a comfortable and affordable stay. The residence halls are: Hausser, Bethany, Oakwood Apartments, Clyde Taylor House and Lillian Rolf Home. These are co-ed housing apartments and just for female. They have laundry facilities. All students can apply for housing through online application forms. Students living on campus are on the full 3 meal plan. The Fort Wayne campus provides on-campus housing for 261 students.
