Towson University


With more than 60 undergraduate majors, over 35 master's degree programs as well as more than three doctoral programs, Towson University is a prominent higher learning institution in the state of Maryland. Known as Towson or TU, Towson University is positioned in suburban Towson and it is some eight miles north of the city of Baltimore, MD. The campus of the university encompasses 328-acre and is comprised of spectacular beauty. The university is highly appreciated for its research-based learning with practical application and is one of the most desirable higher learning institutions in Maryland. Total enrollment of TU is over 21,000 students and its number of students makes it the second-largest public university in the state.     Admission Procedures:

    Towson University is not open to all and only the qualified students can get enrolled here. Freshmen students can arrange for a campus tour before admission. With the complete admission, the applicants have to submit all the credentials, SAT I or ACT scores and TOFEL for the non English speaking students.     Accommodation facilities:

    Accommodation facilities are provided by Towson University, MD to the students. A large number of students live on campus. There are 15 residence halls including modern high-rise towers, traditional two- and three-story residential buildings as well as apartment complexes are present in the campus. Towson University also homes five special housing options. These include Wellness, International House, Honors College, Alcohol-free, and Special Quiet. In the campus, you will also find a health center, a career center and an academic advising center.
