Introduction:

University of Minnesota-Morris (UMM) is a member of Council of Public Liberal Arts College. This college is situated at Morris in Minnesota, United States. It is a public, co-educational liberal arts college.

The history of UMM can be traced back to those days when an American Indian boarding school managed by Roman Catholic Church came into existence in 1880. The school eventually closed down in 1909, which led to the transfer of campus to the State of Minnesota. American Indians were waived of tuition fees. UMM still holds on to this old policy.
