University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is a public research university situated in Minneapolis and St. Paul in Minnesota. Belonging to University of Minnesota System, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has the largest and the oldest campus of the university. It is the fourth largest in respect to students enrolled in the United States. University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is fondly dubbed by local people as U of M or U. University of Minnesota was established in the year 1851 but the process of enrolling students started in the year 1867.
The twin campus area stretches over 1,150 acres of land in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The Minneapolis campus is near the beautiful Mississippi River and a vibrant downtown area. To get admission in University of Minnesota-Twin Cities you need ACT assessment along with ACT writing test. SAT (which includes writing test within it) score can also be considered. The university does not follow open admission policy.
